This safari will give you plenty of time to explore the wildlife and wonders if perhaps the premier game park in the world! The Masai Mara National Reserve is famous for its grand displays of animal life, landscapes, and native culture. Once you’ve been to the Mara, you can say you have seen Africa. The Masai Mara is also home to the Great Migration where countless herds of wildebeest and zebra sweep over the Savannah in an unforgettable display of wildlife unique to the planet.
Depart from your Nairobi hotel for the Masai Mara Game Reserve stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and at Narok town for refueling. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive in the reserve which is famous for its high animal concentration, abundance, and variety. Welcome to andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented camp.
Sprawled along the Saparingo River on the edge of the Oloololo escarpment, where riverine forest meets the sweeping plains in the seasonal path of the awe-inspiring Great Migration, this camp provides an authentic dose of African wildlife, delivered with legendary Kenyan hospitality.

Full day spent game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard, and cheetah but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. In the evening, drive back to the camp for dinner and a well deserved overnight.

The Masai Mara combines some of the richest Big Five viewing on the planet and is home to lion prides, leopard and elephant parades. In migration season, vast herds of wildebeest stretch as far as the eye can see, and with the diverse eco-systems comes a variety of bird life.
Spend the whole day in Masai Mara with picnic lunches, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant. In the evening, drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Pre-breakfast game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nairobi with lunch en-route. Arrive in Nairobi late in the afternoon at approximately 16:00. Drop off at your hotel or airport where the safari ends.
